Planning a canoe expedition

You’re dreaming of a canoe adventure this Summer, but don’t know where to begin? During this workshop, we will guide you through every step of preparation for a successful canoe-camping expedition!

(Please note that this workshop will be given in French only) 

Subjects discussed:

• Choose your destination and your stretch of water well
• Ideas of routes
• Maps and legends
• Rundown on the necessary or relevant trainings
• Adequate equipment (containers for luggage, canoe, paddles, etc.)
• What to bring and how to organize your luggage (lists of follow-ups before, during and after)
• Example of first aid kit
• Example of menu and rundown on the food preparation
• Rundown of the camp
• Other subjects according to the requests of the group
